CHRISTCHURCH CATHEDRAL, WATERFORD:

The recent major works have involved leveling the floor and installing underfloor heating. The pews were modified for comfort and upholstered as the cathedral was increasingly used as a concert and performance venue. The choir stalls were restored to their original layout. The defective plaster to the inside and outside was replaced with lime based material and ventilation panels provided within each window. These remedies cured, almost instantaneously, the decades long persistent dampness.

At present plans are in train to re-point the tower stonework to ameliorate persistent water ingress.
